I don’t what change does to you, but it’s kind of the worst and best thing for me. I know this much about myself – I don’t usually like change. I like comfort, routine, and familiarity. My problem is I anticipate and try to control changes that are coming too much. A lot of change is out of my control. so I spend a lot of time and energy on struggling for no logical reason. But then once the change happens, I can usually handle it pretty well. And if I can’t, I’m usually willing to submit to the process to learn how to change and transition. Or so I hope!
It feels like a year since I have written a blog, but it’s only been a few months. However, those few months have been JAM PACKED with shifts, changes, and new things. Apparently when all that is going on, I can’t really manage getting inspired and writing blogs at the same time!
For several reasons, I am back to writing my thoughts to any and all who may care to read. My focus for this blog is still a little blurry. If you’re a pro in the blogging world, you focus on one thing and become an expert authority in it. This means tons of traffic, maybe some money, and a reputation. I think maybe one day I’d like to go that route, but for now I am just enjoying talking about what I want to talk about. That usually covers a wide variety of subjects and topics, so maybe I can be a little bit of everything for you.
I want to write about my daily life and lessons I am learning. I want to write about God, His Word, and practical theology. I want to write about healthy living – different things I am doing or have tried to live in accordance with what I am learning. I want to write about things YOU want to hear about, because I love to research. So feel free to drop me a note anytime with questions.
Looking forward to a new season with you all!
